The governing design of this home was the vanishing edge pool - a feature that our customer had seen in his extensive travels.

The vertical nature of the lot accommodated this detail.
The building had very tight wood specifications - Western red cedar with an average moisture content of 10 - 12%.

 

John Reiner Boys of Nicola Logworks found the wood in a steep gully near the Nahatlatch River. The vertical nature of the dead-standing burn required helicopter logging.
